Welcome to La Baja

Where the borders of Mexico meet culinary innovation.

La Baja is the newest creation from James Beard Award Finalist Chef Dionicio Jiménez, a BYOB dining destination now open in Ambler, Pennsylvania.

Inspired by Cocina de Frontera - the vibrant borderland cuisine of Mexico - La Baja celebrates the stories, ingredients, and cultures that define the regions where Mexico meets the world.

Our menu weaves together the Mediterranean influences found along Baja California's coastal valleys and the Asian flavors introduced by early Chinese and Japanese communities who shaped the cuisine of Northern Mexico in the 1920s. Each dish is a reflection of heritage, migration, and the art of culinary connection.

Experience the border of flavor - without boundaries.
